(LUKE 1:45 KJV) EXPLANATION: I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today we will meditate on the promised verse, "And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord." (Luke 1:45). "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17) says the scriptures. A person's faith depends on what we ask from whom. If we listen to the world, our faith will depend on the world and its actions. But if our faith is based on God's word, it will dictate our thoughts, actions, and whole body. By doing so, you will function successfully in the realm of faith. A man of God knew the importance of hearing such a word of God. He shared the experience with others. “I prayed for faith and thought that one day faith would strike me like lightning. But I don't believe in that. Once I was reading Romans 10, chapter 1, and I learned that 'faith comes by questioning, and questioning comes by the word of God'. After that I started reading the scriptures and praying for faith. Now whenever I read it, faith grows in me.” Yes, he shared how listening to the word of God has brought about changes in many people's lives. A student failed in three main subjects in the examination. Her parents made her listen to inspirational Christian sermons as often as they could at their home and in the car. As this girl heard such messages over and over again, her attitudes toward studies began to change in surprising ways. She began to believe in the Lord and put her trust in Him. The peace that arose within her replaced the stress. A few months later, in the final exam, she scored top marks in all three subjects and received two awards. One is the award for the best student in the class and the other is the award for the best progress. This surprised her. Beloved, whatever your challenge is today, keep listening to God's word. God's word produces faith. The more you listen to God's word, the more you will be encouraged in your faith. By spending too much time on television and social media, you only end up with confusion. So you are more vulnerable. Therefore, hold fast to the promises of God and declare them with your tongue. Then you will see all your troubles disappear like snow. I want to remind you that through today's promise (blessed is the one who believed, the things the Lord told her will come true) God is pouring out His blessings on you. He speaks His plans, purpose, and love into your life. God is always speaking into your heart through His Word, prophecies and visions. But it is your faith that makes God's promises work. When you believe that what God has spoken will come to pass, you will surely be blessed. You may not see the signs immediately; But don't forget that what God has said will happen. I declare that everything God has spoken in your life will be fulfilled in Jesus name. God calls things that are not; God can do what man cannot do. "If you believe, you will see the glory of God". He promises that the little one shall be a thousand, and the little one a mighty nation. God says, "I will love you; I will bless you; I will multiply you; I will multiply you." His blessing is upon you now; A multiplying, doubling blessing comes in the name of Jesus. It is your faith that makes God's promises work. When you believe that what God has spoken will come to pass, you will surely be blessed. Blessed are you who believe that God will fulfill what He has spoken about you. Your time of increase, of blessing, of fulfillment is at hand; So, be brave.
