hello again! i am back with another video for you all! uni-ball UK very kindly recently sent me some of their wonderful pens to try out so i decided that my second video will be a little unboxing and pen review of each set they sent me! P.S. we are all going to ignore how awkwardly i opened up this package and my chipped nail polish - I'm just keeping it real xD NOTE: these items were gifted to me but this video is NOT sponsored and these are my honest opinions my thoughts: 1. uni-ball eye ocean care (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C5D8WVG...) really great writing pen with very bold black ink and smooth writing - i am a particular fan of the 0.5mm nib (compared to the 0.7mm). feels really nice in the hand and i like being able to see exactly how much ink is left in the pen. the liquid ink dries really quickly so no smudging which is really great! however, because it is liquid ink, if you write on a non-paper surface, e.g. tippex, it will smudge (this is quite common with liquid ink pens). other than the black pen, the red and green are both also really lovely colours. i also love that the pen is made with recycled plastic and that uniball are putting thought into how they can make their pens more environmentally friendly! 2. uni-ball emott - awaken set (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B096W3M4B...) i already knew i was a huge fan of these pens as i have bought myself a few of them for myself! so i was so excited to try this set as i've not tried these colours before! but first here's what i love about the pens themselves: they are fantastic fineliners with great nibs that are CRAZY smooth to write with. as well as this, i am OBSESSED with the design of the pens with the super sleek square barrel. one of the most stylish pens in my collection imo. these colours are also really beautiful and the pink and blue are a gorgeous pastel that i know will be used a lot in my notes. initially i thought the black wasn't that dark but i've used it a bit more now and it is actually nice and opaque - i think maybe it was the paper i was using at first? overall, these pens are so underrated and i highly recommend them! 3. uni-ball signo metallic ink (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08CJ6YS5...) this is the first time i've tried the signo metallic pens (i've tried them in non-metallic colours) and i was really impressed with the shine! i really wish how truly metallic they are in person was clearer on camera :( i did find that these pens occasionally skipped when writing so weren't as smooth on first use as the others but once you had written with them for a little bit, they were fine! these pen nibs are a little bit thicker than what i usually use but i think for these it works quite well because the thicker line you get allows for more of the metallic shine. overall, I'm a big fan of these pens. thank you again to uni-ball UK for kindly sending them to me! are you going to try any of these pens out?
