Music: Over the Rainbow, Richard Clayderman Placed 2/8 with a 20.85 - given that this was 5.5 months after having a baby, I was shocked as I didn’t think I’d be medaling at all! This was my best ever technical skate with zero dashes or asterisks on my protocol sheet - smashed my previous TES record of 8.89 with a new best of 10.25, got both the CCoSp2 and the LSp1 called, and got positive or flat GOE on everything but a slightly wonky loop landing. This is the jump layout that happens if I accidentally land on the wrong foot during the second jump of my flip-loop-toe - I turn it into a flip-Euler-salchow and do a loop-toe next instead of a sal-toe later. Also, the story of that waltz jump is that I was tired and didn’t feel like jumping by the end so I did a waltz. As I learned last year, this does not automatically kill your program in IJS!
