In case you've been on vacation and missed our first edition of the Magna Carta MAG 650 flex nib fountain pen, let's get you up to speed. In June, we introduced you to the new MAG 650 fountain pen in Amber in Cyanic. It's similar in size to the popular MAG 600. Instead a cylindrical profile, we wanted a rounder shape that carries more of a Parker Vacumatic vibe. The ringed layers of the MAG 650 Amber and Cyanic finishes also call to mind the classic look of a vintage Parker pen. Our first run of the MAG 650 sold out within about a week. It's taken a couple of months, but we restocked these pens, plus added a new stacked acrylic color called "Malachite." Malachite's layered acrylic alternates between bands of chatoyant emerald green and shimmering obsidian black. Much like Amber and Cyanic, Malachite dresses up with warm, yellow-gold appointments.
