Breaking A Broody Hen | Did A Cold Bath Work?

We have a broody hen on our hands. Our Welsummer hen has decided to try to hatch the eggs that our backyard flock is laying. While sometimes that is a good thing, especially if you are trying to breed and hatch baby chicks, it isn't something we want on our little urban homestead. Our chicken flock is for layers only. In this video I walk through the steps we are taking to break our broody hen and get her laying again. It did require shutting our homemade DIY coop down for a little while and a nice cold bath for her. I also discuss other methods like crating and blocking off the nesting boxes.
