It was a favourite dish from kids to aged one. We use mainly best quality raw rice. Just grind it fine, cook it until ball consistency. Then make tiny balls and steam cook them. Finally 2 types of upkaris made. One is sweet (with jaggery and coconut) the other is plain or spicy chillies can be added. Onion etc. Can also be added to enhance it's taste.
