While I am waiting for my fancy pants depth sounder to be repaired by Signet, I thought I would take the Seafarer Mk II Depth Sounder out of storage and have a look at it. It wants a 15o KHz transducer, while the one on Pacific Child is 200 KHz ( 200 kc). But, maybe it will go into the dinghy if I find an old 150kc transom mount transducer in somebody's junk pile. In the second video, I take this unit apart and make a critical adjustment, to fix an issue that prevented the rotor and it's neon lamp from spinning.
