Today at 816 Diesel, we are putting a BD Screamer Turbo on our customers 2018 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel. The stock turbo had no issues at 107k, but the customer tows a lot, and is wanting a little extra pep in his step. We chose the BD Screamer series turbo because it comes with a brand new VGT Actuator, which is a huge selling point, because they are almost $750 new, and go out like clock work between 150-250k miles. Overall the turbo has a little low end lag when putting around, but as soon as you fill it with air, the power on demand is insane! Very happy with this upgrade, and noticeable gains! The turbo has a nice lite whistle when cursing around, not very smokey on WOT, and boost for days!
