Brown Sugar - Honey Glazed Ham 8-11 pound spiral cut ham 4 Tablespoons butter 1/2 cup honey 1/3 cup packed brown sugar 3/4 cup pineapple juice 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard 1 Tablespoon corn starch 3 teaspoons water Preheat oven to 350°. Place ham in a baking dish and cover loosely with foil. Bake covered for 20 minutes. While ham is baking, in a medium saucepan, over medium heat, melt the butter. Then add honey, brown sugar, pineapple juice, and mustard. Bring this to a boil. While waiting for the butter mixture to boil, stir together corn starch and water in a bowl. Whisk this corn starch slurry into the boiling mixture and simmer five minutes. The glaze should be thickened. After the ham has been in the oven for twenty minutes, remove it from oven and use half of brown sugar/honey mixture to glaze the ham. Be sure to get glaze in between each slice. Recover with foil. Return to oven for twenty minutes. Then remove from oven, discard foil, brush all remaining glaze over the ham and return to the oven uncovered for 20-30 minutes until the ham is slightly browned with a nice, glossy glazed look.
