The 7.5" x 7.5" (19 cm x 19 cm) size demonstrated in video makes a nice dishcloth, trivet, or large coaster. The written pattern (coming soon) has instructions for three sizes...5" coaster, 7.5" dishcloth, and 12" afghan square. Skill Level: Intermediate, but this video will enable adventurous beginners to accomplish this project with ease. Techniques: Chain, slip stitch, modified Tunisian simple stitch, needle join, outer-edge decrease (worked on right edge or left edge, depending on your dominant hand), single crochet, half double crochet. Tools: 6.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook and 5.0 mm regular crochet hook (for scalloped edging), yarn needle, and scissors. Yarn: Approximately 1.0 oz / 48 yds (28 g / 44 m) of medium weight (#4) yarn in total. About half that amount for each of two colors.
