Adding a Hellcat V8 to an old school International Scout | Built2wander

Progress on our 1975 International Harvester Scout II restomod continues at full throttle. After returning from America’s Most Wanted 4x4 with our supercharged Hellcat engine conversion, we got down to work at 3D Off-Road. We started by removing the hood and front clip to create space for extracting the factory motor and transmission. With the old engine out, Cory Nasso from Infinity Fabrication joined us to perform a 3D scan of the entire chassis, including the engine bay and Hellcat conversion. This scan will streamline the design and fabrication of custom motor mounts, suspension, and other components for the chassis. With the scan complete, we mocked up our Hellcat V8 engine to visualize its fitment in the Scout. It fits like a glove! We also placed a set of 37” Nitto Recon Grapplers next to the Scout to gauge the modifications needed for proper fitment.
