Here is Freedom Planet 2 Nalao Lake Rainbow S rank with Carol! Welcome to my channel and thank you for clicking on my video. In this series I am going through all the stages with Carol to achieve all the Rainbow S ranks. I noticed here on YouTube that all the other characters have completed series for the Rainbow S already, but there are none for Carol, so I thought it would be fun to go through them all myself. Getting the Rainbow S isn't particularly complicated. You need to equip two bonus boosting treasures, one of which has to be the one hit KO. The treasures make aspects of the game more difficult and in the case of the one hit KO you go into a stage with zero life and without the ability to regain it when picking up petals. You can however get shields, which is why I use the shield boosting potions. (Yes you can still use potions and get the Rainbow S) It can get tricky at times avoiding enemies, particularly at boss fights with no shield items. This one... this one was certainly a challenge to get under 2.5 minutes. I didn't think it was possible at first, and I actually ended up looking at some other speed runs for options. I did find the technique of using the bike underwater which helped immensely. Also, sad news. After completed this level, I was loading up my file, and my finger slipped and I deleted it... I am going to see if I can somehow recover it, but I think it's off in the void. I am going to have to start my file with Carol from scratch.
