Honda VTR Firestorm Review - V2 Sports Bike - Honda Motorbike Ride and Review.

The much anticipated ride and review of the Honda VTR1000 Firestorm / Super hawk V twin 1000cc. It is very much the marmite of bikes, you either love it or hate it and I used to be on the haters side, never liked V twins or VTR's in general, but after owning and riding this one I'm in love with it, and the more I ride it the more I love it! its a hooligan of a bike with stupid amounts of torque and no lack of top speed either. It's an older bike but by no means left in the past, it will give most modern bikes a run for their money. This bikr in particular is somewhat custom with plenty of mods, It has a full custom exhaust system with Dyno Jets and a tune up to suit, K&N Performance Air Filter with blanking rubbers, Micron Carbon Fibre cans, upgraded battery, Cams and internal tuning and the custom paintwork done by Dream Machine amongst other bits and bobs. so to sum up, the VTR is an insane machine that wants to eat up any distance in front and there is not enough room for the power it has without having to avoid everything in its path, it's loud, its fast and it's daft. certainly not for the faint hearted. It's a smile machine with some serious character and sheer torquey power can be sometimes too much for UK roads, and the noise it makes can only be likened to the launch of the Apollo Rocket.
