Many people have questioned if this really was my first flight. Believe what you wish, I have nothing to prove but yes, it was my first. Any yes, I say MPH vs KIAS because in this airplane MPH is what was on the gauge and in the book. And yes, I don't like performing full-stop landings because I would rather use my time flying instead of taxiing. After a short period of time after getting endorsed to solo, my schedule finally allowed for me to go up on my first solo flight in an airplane. Although not even close to being perfect it was a nice flight to get used to how the aircraft felt with just one person. My solo flight consisted of at least 8 traffic patterns with touch & go landings. Coming from the helicopter background I felt that it would be most beneficial to work on my takeoff and landings. Like I stated in the video, I need to keep the nose more straight with the runway alignment on landing as to not put any side load on the landing gear. Between that and wanting to float the nice gear longer on landing as well, I had my work cut out for me. If you have concerns or negative comments, please send me a message. Overall a good flight!
