October is celebrated as Indigenous Peoples Month in the Philippines, a time dedicated to honoring Indigenous communities' vibrant culture, history, and contributions. This year also marks the 27th anniversary of the Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (IPRA), overseen by the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP). In commemoration of this occasion, ACT International Consulting, LLC has launched the Indigenous Peoples Month Speaker Series. This initiative aims to amplify Indigenous voices, raise awareness, and foster meaningful discussions on the key challenges faced by Indigenous communities today.
