10 under the Ben 2022. My last ever competitive mountain bike race - RETIRED!

I bought us entries for this race in 2019 after we won the Super Vet Mixed Pairs. Then Covid happened and this was the return of the iconic MTB endurance race. A 10 mile course for 10 hours in the shadow of and on the slopes of Ben Nevis. Since my heart decided to be a dick at the end of last year I can't do what I used to but I thought I'd put at least one lap in and defend our title. This would be my last competitive mountain bike race. Was strange to not put any stress on myself and just bimble round. It was a grand day out meeting old friends and seeing the elites show us how it's done. Here's my day.
