A hit Broadway musical makes its welcome return to DC. Jane Horwitz gives us a sneak peek at Studio Theatre's production of "Fun Home." This terrific Tony-winning musical is based on the 2006 graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic about a family that's brimming with difficult secrets. The production started off-Broadway in 2014 and premiered on Broadway in 2015. With a melodious and stylistically varied score by Jeanine Tesori, and a witty perceptive book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, this show celebrates all humans and grieves for us too in all our complexity, and our secrets.
