Dr Rahul Chawla was invited as a panelist on CNBC Awaz where he put forward following points regarding NEET Results 2024 controversy: ⁉️ There have been unfortunate incidences of suicides and mental health of students is getting affected because of the uncertainty. Court should fast track the proceedings. ⁉️Students have different opinion on Re NEET. It’s really tough for those students who have prepared well and got decent scores and are certain to get medical colleges. While students who are certain of not getting a medical seat would want re examination to happen so that they get another chance to improve their scores. So the decision is not easy and has to be assessed objectively as per the evidence by honourable supreme court. ✅ Students should get Appropriate 4 weeks time to prepare again if re examination happens ✅ Counselling should be put on hold till final verdict - what if the irregularities are proved in court after counselling starts and students are allotted medical colleges.
