Jay talks with Beau McCall. Beau is an extraordinary artist and designer who uses buttons to create his exquisite clothing and captivating sculptures. His work has been featured in many of the most prestigious museums, galleries, and publications throughout the country. Beau’s here today to inform us about the current exhibition at the Fuller Craft Museum entitled Beau McCall Buttons On!, the first-ever retrospective of Beau’s nearly forty-year career. During the program, we’ll go on a behind-the-scenes tour, and, in the process, come to better understand and appreciate Beau’s artistry and the wide-range of items on display that showcase Beau’s illustrious career. Beau McCall: Buttons On! will be on display at the Fuller Craft Museum until February 2, 2025.
