In Partnership with Butterfly Beetroot Halwa Recipe: Beetroot - 4 Cups Ghee - 4 tbsp Milk (full cream) - ¾ Cup Khova - ¾ Cup Raisins - 10 nos Cashew - 10 nos Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp Sugar - ¾ Cup Cooking instructions: 1. Wash, peel and grate the beetroots and keep them aside. 2. In a thick bottomed pan, heat ghee. Once the ghee is hot add cashews and raisins. Once the raisins puff and cashews become golden brown, remove them from the pan. 3. In the same pan, add the grated beetroot and saute for 10 minutes stirring well. 4. Add the milk and let it simmer on low heat until the milk is absorbed. 5. Add the Khova, sugar, cardamom powder, and mix well until everything dissolves. 6. Increase the heat to high and saute for 8 mins stirring continuously. 7. Add the cashews and raisins. 8. Remove from the heat, and serve the halwa warm. Stay connected with us!
