The mine brought thousands to the area for work and discovery and along the way the community of Leadville sprang up like wildfire around it. Amongst the downtown the Silver Dollar Saloon became notoriously known in the community. While many elements of the Leadville area have changed, the Saloon still welcomes visitors to the waterhole or for a meal along their journey through the historic town. Today we are checking out the oldest still functional saloon in all of the state of Colorado.
