Refreshing My Ravaged Mountain Bike (Chameleon Respray and Fork Upgrade)

In my last video, I showed me overhauling this Boardman MHT8.8 which I managed to purchase for just £250. While I have really enjoyed riding this hardcore hardtail mountain bike over the summer, there are a number of expensive components that are soon requiring replacement. As this bike is quickly loosing its cheap status, I really want to do something about the ravaged paintwork. I really like the color scheme but its got deep chips and scratches everywhere. So today we are going to be refreshing and respraying the frame with a certainly unique chameleon color shifting colour scheme and also going to be fitting an exciting new upgrade. Unfortunately, this bike transformation didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it to due to my impatience but I at least know what not to do for next time. In future I would definitely pay someone to sand blast the paint off and use a better quality primer, as this would take alot of the time-consuming parts away. The Rockshox Reba is a nice addition to the bike and will hopefully be abit more robust than the Rockshox Judy fork that was on it previously. Upcoming upgrades and restoration will be to the wheels and drivetrain (and probably another respray) - there's almost going to be nothing left of the original bike at this rate - so stay tuned for that!
