A few months ago I reviewed the Proxima PX1697 in White. I was VERY impressed. Never before had I seen such attention to detail on a watch at around £200. It nearly won The Best Dive Watch challenge I held a month or so after that. Now Proxima have went dark with new colours on offer including the jet black version in this review. The Proxima PX1697 2023 edition (or version 2) has an improved clasp and the logo has been stylistically changed. Often you will hear reviewers stating their watch is the best watch on AliExpress without much substance. I do believe however that this is the best watch you can buy on AliExpress as it has all the attributes you could ever want, all put together in a beautifully designed and impeccably finished case.
