The ultra-healthy version of our regular upma!With the goodness of the superfood, ragi, here's an upma version which is ultra-healthy! रागी रवा उपमा | Ragi Rava Upma | Soft And Tasty Ragi Rava Vegetables Upma | रागी रवा उपमा बनाने का आसान तरीका | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana RAGI RAVA UPMA "0:10 add Ragi rava 0:43 add onion 1:08 add carrot 1:41 add water 2:15 garnish with coriander #रागीरवाउपमा #RagiRavaUpma #sanjeevkapoorkhazana #snacktime #upma Ingredients 1½ cups ragi rava 2 tbsps oil ½ tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal) 8-10 curry leaves 2 green chillies, chopped 2 medium onions, chopped 1 medium tomato, chopped Salt to taste 1 medium carrot, peeled and cut into ½ cm pieces ½ cup green peas ½ tsp sugar Scraped coconut for garnish Coriander sprig for garnish Method 1. Dry roast ragi rava in a nonstick pan on medium heat for 4-5 minutes. 2. Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add mustard seeds and once they start to splutter, add urad dal. Sauté till golden brown. 3. Add curry leaves, green chillies, onions and mix well. Sauté till translucent. 4. Add tomato, salt and cook till tomatoes are pulpy. 5. Add carrot, green peas and mix well. Add ½ cup water, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium heat. 6. Add the roasted rava ad mix well. Add 3 cups hot water, sugar and mix. 7. Cover and cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes. 8. Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle coconut, garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
