Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is now available on the Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo of America generously provided me a copy! So here's gameplay of the online multiplayer mode of the game: ScareScraper! And I managed to create a 4-player lobby consisting of PraisedScooter, NintendoFanGirl, Jughead870, and myself! The game features visually enhanced and updated graphics compared to the Nintendo 3DS version, greatly resembling Luigi's Mansion 3. ScareScraper (known as Thrill Tower in European and Australian versions), is a side mode consisting of series of floors where up to four players can play. The ScareScraper can be set to have 5, 10, 25, or infinite rooms. There are also three difficulty settings: normal, hard, and expert (none of which are available on Endless mode due to the progressive difficulty system). The game mode is compatible with both local and online multiplayer. The game ends when all Luigis are KO'd (or trapped), or when they do not complete a floor in an amount of time. In Hunter Mode, all Luigis work together to capture all ghosts on the floors before time runs out. A gauge on the right side of the bottom screen shows ghostly activity that empties as ghosts are captured. Depending on the difficulty, such as in Endless mode, Strong versions of ghosts may appear in earlier floors.
