2022 Specialized Levo Expert vs 2022 Specialized Kenevo Expert Back to Back Ride!

2022 Specialized Levo Expert vs 2022 Specialized Kenevo Expert back to back ride at Horns Hill. Back to back rides are a great way to get a feel for the different characteristics of different bikes. Thoughts on each bike... Levo Expert: The updated '22 Levo Expert is a well balanced "does it all" e-MTB. The mullet set up helps give the Levo a lightweight and agile feel on the trails. The Fox suspension has a firm and controlled feel that at time provides a little more trail feedback even when I open up the clickers. The 700Wh battery provides plenty of power for longer rides and the Brose 2.2 motor is easily tunable with the Specialized Mission Control app. The Levo feels noticeably lighter when ridden back to back with the Kenevo Kenevo Expert: The Kenevo has a super plush and planted feel that is instantly noticeable especially when jumping off the Levo. There is also a more beefy and weighty feel to the Kenevo. For a moto guy like me that heavier feel along with the planted and plush suspension gives me more confidence at speed. The 27.5 inch wheels, especially up front, help the Kenevo feel more agile on the trails and the bike actually feels smaller than the Levo (both are S4 frame size). Big power from the Brose 2.2 motor and plenty of range with the 700Wh battery in the Kenevo. Summary: The Levo has a more lightweight classic MTB feel in motion...more flickable and responsive. The Kenevo is super planted and inspires confidence to hit things faster and harder...a moto feeling bike
