Join me on the final leg of my unforgettable Spiti Valley adventure! 🌄 Day 4: Kaza to Chandrataal The journey from Kaza to Chandrataal is one for the books! 🚙 Driving through rugged mountain terrain, we ascended to the high-altitude, breathtaking Chandrataal Lake, also known as the "Moon Lake." Sitting at 14,100 feet, this turquoise gem is nestled amidst the barren, dramatic landscape of the Spiti region. The hike to the lake offers unparalleled views of the surrounding peaks, and camping under the clear night sky was pure magic. 🌌 Day 5: Chandrataal to Manali From Chandrataal, we embarked on one of the most thrilling (and nerve-wracking) drives yet — the infamous road to Manali. 🛣️ Often labeled as one of the most dangerous roads in the world, it offers jaw-dropping views and adrenaline-pumping twists. The journey through Kunzum Pass and Rohtang Pass was an unforgettable experience, with narrow roads, steep cliffs, and constant surprises around every bend. The scenery is incredible but demands every bit of focus as we navigated landslides and river crossings. Finally arriving in the lush green valley of Manali felt like entering another world. Day 6: Manali Exploration After the intensity of the previous day’s drive, Manali was the perfect place to relax and explore. 🏔️ From the beautiful Hadimba Temple to the charming Old Manali cafes, the town offers a unique blend of tradition and modernity. A stroll by the Beas River and a visit to the Solang Valley added a dash of adventure to the day, and the cool weather was a refreshing break after the high-altitude desert of Spiti. Day 7: Manali to Delhi The final stretch of this adventure took us back to the bustling capital, Delhi. Leaving behind the serene landscapes of the Himalayas, we descended into the plains, carrying with us memories of a lifetime. 🚗 The journey through Spiti Valley has been nothing short of an adventure — from stargazing in Tabo to the vibrant colors of Chandrataal and the perilous yet beautiful road to Manali.
