Sneak Peek, Rock & Roll Campground & Festival Venue, Big Niangua River!

We kayak float the Big Niangua River close to Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. The cool thing is we found a brand-new Rock and Roll campground, with festivals like Schwagstock, Aug. 30th and 31st 2024. The campgrounds is on a 3-mile section of the Big Niangua. We actually float with the bands, including, members of The Schwag, Moonlight Drive and The Chris Zumwalt Band! An amazing weekend was had by all. The concert was super cool, we got t shirts and cooked out on the campfire at our riverfront campsite. Mother Nature's Riverside Retreat has been a campground for years, but it is under new management and has become the newest rock and roll festival venue. We also tried a tandem kayak for the first time, instead of a canoe or kayak. The float trip was fun and beautiful. The rustic camping is amazing. The Big Niangua River empties into the Lake of the Ozarks, so it's not far to Lake of the Ozarks and party cove. Mother Nature's Riverfront Retreat is only 20 min. or so from Ha Ha Tonka State park Castle Ruins!
