Trouble comes from different places. There are the troubles we bring upon ourselves or the troubles sent from God for our discipline. But Jesus promised us that we would face troubles from the world. Dr. John points to Psalm 7 as a reflection of Jesus' promise. God has overcome the world. Psalms for Gaining Confidence Since confidence is defined as a sense of self-assurance, we may assume that the source of confidence can be found within us. We simply need to boost our own morale.
