Now that my bike is mechanically sound (or so I think…) it’s time to make her pretty and put some cheap new custom fairings on it 😀 I never used Chinese fairings before and I want to see how the fitment turns out to be. Especially that gas tank cover that seems ubiquitous for the 07-08 Yamaha R1 4C8 on eBay and Aliexpress So I put it together and realize some parts are good and some are really not… Having no paint reference doesn’t help when comes the time to color match the gas tank with those fairings… But you know I spray paint my way through perfection and that’s exactly what I did with some Duplicolor cans and some masking tape to make stripes on the tank Tell me what you think of the result!
