One of the best Sad Song Of Legend Folk Singer Malik Ali Malkoo. This song is from his Album No. 6 (RGH) Malik Ali Malkoo (1955-1997) was a Pakistani folk Singer. He was famous for his Punjabi and Saraiki songs. Malik Ali Malkoo was born in 1955 in Adda Shabeel Chak No. 70-4R, a village situated on Sahiwal-Noor Shah Road about 9 KM away from District Headquarter. His father Allah Dad was a Tailor Master in his village. His Grandfather Mian Moga migrated from Booiyanwala Gargh Fateh Shah, a village now in Tehsil Tandlianwala District Faisalabad. Both his father and grandfather were famous in Singing of "Dhola" a folk type of Punjabi Songs. Malik Ali never went School but he red Quran the holy book of Muslims from Maolvi Allah Bux. He learnt reading Urdu, Punjabi, Saraiki and Arabic. He started his practical life as a shepherd in his childhood. Malik Ali Malkoo used to go with Sheep toward fields early in the morning till evening. He started recitation of Naats in very early age and later on he was started poetry and singing too in start of 1970s. It is reported by his brother Alam Sher that change came in his life after felling in love with a girl of near by village. Company of his best and childhood friend Abrar Hussain Chishti who was a land lord and poet of his near by village Chak No. 56-GD Modan, polished his singing. from beginning to end Malik Ali Malkoo Sung most of Songs written by Abrar Chishti, Maskeen Ali ( A poet from Chak 9 Dairh Sharif Tehsil Renala Khurd) and himself. In 1982, Malik Ali Malkoo married with his Cousin Naimat Bibi, the daughter of his elder uncle resident of Booiyan Wala Gargh Fateh Shah. unfortunately, they have no kids. Malik Ali Malkoo was one of the most famous folk singer of his time as Mansoor Malangi, Attaullah, Ashiq Jatt ect. He got popularity by releasing his albums in audio cassettes and singing in traditional Local festivals of Punjab called Mela.. Most of his albums recorded and released by Rehmat Gramophone House (RGH) Faisalabad. On January 25, 1997 when he was on a trip to his friend Basaara Kharal in Mandi Ahmad Abad District Okara, Malik Ali Malkoo suffered by a heart attack and passed away leaving his fans in grief.
