Between The Buried And Me | Swim To The Moon | Orchestral Cover

Title: Swim to the Moon Artist: Between the Buried and Me Background: I had been wanting to cover something from these guys for a while so a couple months ago I asked r/BetweenTheBuriedAndMe which track they'd like to see an orchestral cover of. "Go big or go home, Swim To The Moon" was the most upvoted comment so I decided to go with that one and... man... they were NOT kidding. This is a mammoth track (even by prog metal standards) but it has so much zany personality that I never grew tired of working on it. Along the way I got to break out not only some fun drum programming but an absolutely demented pipe organ solo. Hopefully it captures the spirit of the original! Also you'll notice I did something pretty drastically different with the visualization this time around. It was a bit more work but I liked the process a lot and it changed the way I thought about orchestrating. This is my first time notating a track in actual sheet music so forgive my mistakes with the markings. I might stick with this format or go back to midi scroll in the future -- I'm still undecided.
