The Secret To Growing Cucumbers That NEVER Bitter

In this video, I share the secret to growing cucumbers that NEVER bitter! If you grow cucumbers, you've probably had cucumber plants produce fruits with a bitter taste. This bittering is preventable, because bitter cucumbers are the result of stress. This video will teach you how to grow cucumbers that will not turn bitter by teaching cucumber tips that reduce the stresses that cause the bittering. Most plants in the cucurbit family produce a natural chemical called cucurbitacin. While some bitter melons have cucurbitacin in the fruit itself, cucurbitacin is typically locked up in the roots, stems and leaves of the plants. However, environmental stressors can cause cucurbitacin to migrate into the fruit, causing bitter and sometimes inedible fruits. There are many natural and environmental problems that can cause this, but the good news is that you can prevent many of them and dramatically reduce bitter cucumbers on your cucumber plants.
