Preparing Your Art Studio For Visits from Collectors, Curators, & Galleries.

Disclaimer!! MAKE SURE YOUR STUDIO IS A REFLECTION OF YOU! As a curator and a dealer, I visit artist studios often. There have been times where I was totally impressed, and other times where I would choose not to work with that particular artist. Studio visits are personal, intimate, journeys of who the artist is. It's vital that artist know how to prepare their studio for a visit, as this could make or break a relationship. Not saying here that all studios need to be organized & well mannered because that would kill the vibe of some artist. What I am saying is make sure your studio follows these steps but maintain a HUGE sensibility of who you are as an artist. // F O L L O W website | aliseartgroup.com Instagram | @MoriahAlisee Twitter | @MoriahAlise // M O R I A H A L I S E I'm Moriah Alise, I am an Art Collector, a Curator, and a Dealer of the arts. I founded and directed an art gallery in Houston, Texas for nearly 3 years, and now I Direct Alise Art Group. www.aliseartgroup.com //F R A M E frame is art dialogue on all levels. from art market research, my perspective on art culture, to common art talk. As i chose to begin my second venture, Alise Art Group. I wanted to embark on a journey that allowed me to have open dialogue with collectors and artist globally that could somehow result in those in the art community learning from one another. Its important to be culturally aware as collectors, investors, advisors, artist, and dealers. But what's often missed are the intricacies of the actual speculative, and monetary market, and whats behind the culture, like the business. lets talk about it! #StudioVisit #ArtStudio
