Suzuki Vitara Strong Hybrid - How Strong Is It? (ENG) - Test Drive and Review

Suzuki Vitara Strong Hybrid is a small crossover with AWD. At launch the Vitara was one of the cheapest, and most interesting propositions in the segment. Suzuki Vitara is produced in current form since 2015. Back then I reviewed a normally aspirated 1.6 petrol Allgrip AWD with a 5-speed manual transmission. I said it was an honest car for a fair price. Since then the Vitara was given a modest facelift mainly around the front bumper to fit the adaptive cruise control radar. There’s also a new display between the analogue gauges, and a few driver aids have been added as well. New turbocharged engines replaced the normally aspirated units. In 2020 a mild hybrid was added, and as of 2022 the Strong Hybrid is promoted. That’s more or less a so-called full hybrid, like that offered by Toyota.
