If you spend anytime in the sea recently you will have seen that the classic twin design is going through a massive resurgence especially in mid length boards. The Son Of Cobra Mid Twin is an incredibly stylish and sought-after board, perfect for bridging the gap between shortboarding and longboarding. It transforms smaller surf days into something special, providing excellent paddling and early entry capabilities. With its captivating aesthetics and Paul Lefèvre's craftsmanship, it offers a classic outline and superior performance. Suitable for all riders, it thrives in small and sizable surf conditions alike. The board has a flattish template with medium rocker front and back, a light double concave comes in mid way through the board feeds through the fins with a light vee through the tail. The nose and tail are fairly full but the rails harden up just back form the mid point. The rail in the front half of the board is almost elliptical so once locked into the wave the speed is immediate. This board is about as loaded with glide as you'll find in a mid but the rail profile and rocker line allow if to surf sweetly. The SoC Mid Twin is a great addition to a quiver if you are looking for a different feel or are looking for a twin fin you can use as an everyday board. Capable in a range of conditions the twin is a brilliant wave catcher when the surf is small and will also hold its own in sizeable surf too.
