Weapon 1 (Update): • Viridian Thorn (E) 50+10: Induction, Explosive, Flurry, Frenzy, Velocity, Triumph Weapon 2: • Immortal Piercer (M) 46+10: Induction, Explosive, Flurry, Frenzy, Velocity, Jubilation Equip Skills: • Accuracy, Rage Springs, Attack Boost, Mighty Roar Animal: • Red Hare Bodyguard Support Skills: • Signal - Rage & Signal - Energy DLC Exhibition (Update): • This is a DLC weapon showcase video, so I will refrain from using (Air) Musou and (True) Rage Musou for offense. Apparently, Koei did end up releasing 6-star and alternative 5-star weapons for the west. Previous Analysis:    • Dynasty Warriors 8 XL - Emei Piercers...   Analysis (Update): • This Emei Piercers' video is more of a playthrough than a full blown demonstration for various setups. With a stronger alternative 5-star weapon, Emei Piercers' damage is now much better and is more capable of smashing through stuff with double Pure Physical Induction + Explosive setup. With the base damage upgrade and double Physical setup, it also nets KO counts much better for kill-to-fill (Triumph). • After playing around it some more with the upgrade, I have found there is a better way to shatter through Storm Rush gauges than C2(x3). The method is a swift C2→Jump Attack (JA), with the JA being a short hop so it cancels itself when it touches the ground. Doing this correctly will get around ~6-10 combos and will shatter Storm Rush gauges in two loops. C2→JA is a much quicker and more aggressive loop as opposed to waiting for them to somersault for C2(x3). • Double Defense super playable officers can still be a uphill climb for Physical setup Emei Piercers. Setting up the Storm Rush with a crowd present will be the most difficult part as this will require some kiting patience and a bit of execution. But once all of that is in order, a (Rage) Storm Rush will pretty much clear everything (except for electrified enemies). Movesets (Update): • Storm Rush fiesta with double Induction + Explosive setup. It is the strongest "attack" that Emei Piercers have (1:07, 1:47, 2:09, 8:01, 10:25, 12:15, 12:47). • C1 is now another method to "sneak' behind generic officers (not recommended against playable officers because of Musou-counter and they are slightly smarter). Similar to the C2→JA short hop, C1→JA short hop is going to be used in quick succession to sneak behind generic officers. Doing this successfully will slightly "confuse" them and have them unblock temporarily (1:07, 1:47, 2:10). S1 force block method works as well. • Normal Strings S5-repeat is demonstrated against Huang Zhong (11:22). It is still considered very weak, with about ~3.5 loop to take out a double Defense super playable officer. The thing is, in the previous video, it took Emei Piercers an eternity to defeat double Defense Lu Su with C6 Elemental weapon. With Emei Piercers' sheer Attack Speed, even playable officers cannot block a front Rage S5-repaet from it. • Switch Attack (SA) has no invincibility frame. I forgot about it and got punished for it here (4:23). Forgot about it again at 6:48, but didn't get punished for it. • JC (9:51) and C6 (11:33 Wu Lan) had the grab bug/glitch where enemy officer appears behind the player. PS: • I should have Game Over here (6:43), but the game was kind enough to me and tried to stun me with a delayed C3 instead. === No audio because this was recorded through the features in PS4.
