People's Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia at the 2024 UK Pipe Band Championships in Bangor

This is People's Ford Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band playing its medley choice at the UK Pipe Band Championships held in beautiful Ward Park in the coastal resort of Bangor in Northern Ireland. The event, which was held on 12 May 2024, was organised by Ards and North Down Borough Council with the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association Northern Ireland Branch (RSPANI) and the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association (RSPBA). It was the first of five RSPBA championship contests in 2024 culminating in the World Pipe Band Championships in August. The full Grade One results are at https://bit.ly/bangor2024. Boghall and Bathgate are the current Grade One World Champions and will be defending their title in August. This was a medley competition and the band's medley comprised the following tunes: Joanna's Hornpipe Inspector Donald Campbell of Ness Sad Tho Parting Seonaidh’s Tune Lexie McAskill Glasgow Police Pipers The band plays under Pipe Major Ross Harvey and the Leading Drummer is Kerr McQillan.
