Devils Kitchen Lake in Southern Illinois is is a small 10 HP limit lake that offers peace and tranquility. Other than a few boat ramps the shoreline is undeveloped. It offers standing timber, bluffs, laydowns and grass. It's been a long time since I fished this Crab Orchard Wildlife Refuge lake so I was excited to launch the boat and chase some bass. A jig , chatterbait, swim jig and shakeyhead did most of the damage.
