This description is going to be kind of long, but I feel that all of the info in it is relevant. Starting with this video, I'm going to update my audio on all of the noise challenges I've uploaded so far before uploading any new ones. The audio I made previously is a bit lacking in quality in my opinion, and I want to update it so it's on the same level of quality as my future uploads. I'm only going to be updating audio for my piano-based noise challenge videos - I said in my most recent noise challenge video that I will be doing no more 8-bit noise challenges, and I'm staying true to my word on that. If you want an 8-bit noise challenge, you'll have to make one on your own or ask someone else to do it. I recommend using the random delay preset of JMv5's STSW soundfont, which can be downloaded from JMv5's public Google Drive. His Google Drive is accessible from his YouTube About page. I'm also making changes to how I make the audio. I said in my most recent noise challenge video that I would be using the random delay preset for FL Keys - Piano, and that I would be using OmniConverter's track-by-track rendering and new unlimited voice count feature when it got its next update. I'm not going to be doing that now because OmniConverter's limiter is still kind of broken, which I already talked about in another video. I'll likely be sticking with Keppy's MIDI Converter (KMC) for all noise challenges moving forward. Unfortunately that means I'm stuck with a maximum voice limit of 100,000 voices and no track-by-track rendering. Because I'm now stuck with a 100,000 voice limit, I decided it was best to use a different soundfont, one that's capable of sounding good even with low voice limits. I don't want to run into the issue of 100,000 voices still not being high enough for the soundfont I'm using. Luckily I was able to find a good one - FLM Bright Piano. HRK.EXEX has used the random delay preset of this soundfont in at least one of his noise challenge videos, and there were no issues with audio quality despite him apparently using a voice limit of just 10,000 in KMC. It's almost as clean as FL Keys - Piano, and personally I think it sounds better. To me it sounds kind of similar to the piano in Frank Wen's Fluid R3 soundfont.
