The Architecture Programme at the School of Housing, Building and Planning (HBP) Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) was established in 1972 with nearly 50 years of experience and excellence. Today, it has produced 1028 students accredited with LAM Part I and 580 students for LAM Part II respectively. 19.3% of our LAM Part II students have progressed further in their practices and obtained success in LAM Part III, thus qualifying themselves to be registered as Professional Architects. They are also colouring urban landscapes and actively transforming the skyline of Malaysia and around the world. Architecture Programme at HBP is ranked as one of the top programmes in Malaysia and currently stands as a top 100 programme in the world (for Architecture & Built Environment) under the QS World University Rankings by subject.
