Oldest & Historical Queen Victoria Bridge Of Chak Nizam Malakwal In Punjab Pakistan

In this video we will show you an ancient bridge of British Era which was constructed by the grant of Queen Victoria in British rule. This bridge was only constructed for Railway and also a pedestrian way was made on both sides. This bridge is situated on river Jhelum and this bridge connects the 3 districts which are Sargodha, Jhelum and Mandi Bahauddin. Thousands of people cross this bridge to go other districts daily. The length of this bridge is approximately 1 km. This iron made bridge is till today in best condition. The wells were constructed on both sides of this bridge in British Era where the passengers drank water. The big banyan trees were planted on the both sides of this bridge which are present till now in lush green condition and the passengers take rest under these trees. Small hotels have been constructed now on the both sides of this bridge and also a small Mosque is also present. The people use this bridge to cross river due to no concrete bridge. Due to the part of the river is very vast here and depth many people fall from this bridge into river and prone to accidents. Men and women both prone in these accidents. These accidents are happening consistently that the local people called it bloody bridge. The motorcyclists pass this bridge mostly and they victim the accidents. The source to pass other types of traffic is not present here so that the people load the cars, jeeps and tractors on big boats to cross river which is a very dangerous method but this method is implement from centuries to till today on river Jhelum.
