Inveraray ASCENSION: Old Skool Jigs

It was a real privilege to be asked by Inveraray & District Pipe Band if I wanted to do some video of the band's now famous Ascension concert given in Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as part of Piping Live! 2013. The band has left me to choose three items from the concert to share with you and to mark the release of the double CD of the concert (see the band's Facebook page). My first choice is this selection of jigs, chosen because of their immediate appeal and because the expert dancing lends an added visual attraction which cannot be caught on CD. This is my own soundtrack (Murray Blair's CD recording will be better) and it is recommended that you watch the video at 720p or above and listen on decent earphones or speakers for the best results.
