With ‘MARK-B™’, all you need to measure the concentration of biomarkers in the blood are a drop of blood from a finger-prick and 20 minutes. After inserting a test cartridge and applying your blood sample, BBB's patented plasma separation technology enables the complete removal of blood cells from a drop of finger-prick blood without any external field. Once the plasma is extracted, the amount of biomarker proteins in the plasma is measured by BBB's new technique, "MESIA; Magnetic force-assisted Electrochemical Sandwich ImmunoAssays". Additional handling, such as applying buffer solution for washing, is not required. The whole process is operated in a fully automated manner on the cartridge. By using this patented technique, significant biomarkers in the plasma are detectable with high sensitivity. BBB begin with cancer markers; PSA, AFP, CEA, CA125, CA19-9 starting from 2020.
