Felis 747-200 Full Tutorial - Part 1 - Flight Engineer Setup

Part One of a tutorial series looking at the Felis 747-200. Flying from London Heathrow to Phoenix Sky Harbor, in this video we’ll be preparing the aircraft for the flight as the flight engineer would do. Errors, Omissions, Clarifications:- Make sure you don't accidentally hit the Pack 2 when scroll wheel zooming! Passenger weights: An average passenger weight, including carry on bags, in 2021, can be assumed to be 88kg, plus another 17kg average for hold baggage. However when the 747-200 was in regular airline service 77kg would have been a more likely figure due to reduced overall passenger weights and lighter carry-on bags. As such, 100KG per passenger including hold bags seems like a reasonable compromise. When starting the APU, the DC meters should be selected to APU Batt to monitor the drain on startup.
