If you want to add a little extra visual "oomph" to conditions, effects, abilities, and spells in Foundry Virtual Tabletop, then this video is for you! Token Variant Art by Aedif is an amazing FoundryVTT module for changing token artwork, applying special effects, and a whole lot more. Today, we're taking a look at using TVA to change token artwork and applying Token Magic FX filters based on active effects on those tokens. This technique works on things like abilities (Rage), spells (Armor of Agathys), and conditions (Dead), and across any system! Whether you have no other special fx modules, or a whole dungeon full, TVA makes a great, easy to use addition to the roster.
