Inverse Matrix Using Gauss-Jordan / Row Reduction , Example 2. Here I look at a quick example of finding the inverse of a 3 x 3 matrix using Gauss - Jordan / row reduction. IF a matrix has an inverse (not all matrices have inverses!), we can find the inverse by placing our original matrix on the left side along with an identity matrix directly to the right of it.
