Hello everybody and welcome back to my channel, today I am making some Yorkshire Parkin, this recipe was given to me by a lovely lady called Roma many years ago I have tried a lot of recipe s over the years but I think this is one of the best. Here is the ingredients, put the oven on at gas mark 3 . Electric 170c , 325 f, I use a 12 inch square tin. 6 oz of margarine , one pound of treacle , 1 And a half cups of milk 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda. In a bowl 2cups of plain flour 2 cups of medium oatmeal. 1-2 teaspoons of ginger,warm marg treacle milk in a pan until melted , take off the heat and add bicarbonate and mix well. Put all dry ingredients in a bowl , put all the warm ingredients in with dry and mix together.
