I went to upstate New York for a day trip to see trains in the Selkirk, NY area. We started out with a K162 in Voorheesville with a pair of BNSF GEs. We then moved to Schodack to catch a stalled Q704 being rescued by B767 with a pair of SD40-2s leading two AC44s with a friendly crew in Notch 8. We then moved to Coxsackie where we would see C711 with an SD40-2 and K162 again. We would then go to Selkirk and catch CSXT 2453 SD38-2 working the east end of the yard. 2453 is the last active SD38-2 on the CSX roster.
