The only way to turn it off is to cut off the water valve at the wall. 9 times out of 10 the issue is going to lie in the water valve. If you want to be sure all you have to turn is run the water valve and unplug the unit if it does not shut off you are looking at a water valve problem. To be more clear. There are 5 different valve on this unit. To test them all you go into diagnostics. Hold “spin” and “soil level” and press power on. Let go of the other two and you will see all lights lighting up. This indicate you are in diagnostic. Once you are there you spin the dial clockwise twice. You should see “Tst” on the display. This is the service test portion of diagnostics. If you touch temp it will turn on the cold valve. Once again the hot so on and so fourth. When all the lights turn on, in the temp section all the valves are on. When they are out then all valve should be off. If you still have water coming through when the valve should be off than you have a bad water valve. Go ahead and swap it out.
